About this plant
Known as the ‘Purple Emu Bush’, this shrub can grow in two forms, open and erect (1.5m) or compact and prostrate (15cm). As one of the hardiest eremophilas it will grow in a wide range of soils including heavy clay, requires very little water, and is also frost tolerant. A beautiful addition to any low maintenance garden, these purple flowers can be seen between March – December, particularly after rain.
