Verticordia verticordina

About this plant

Restricted in range between Cape le Grand and Cape Arid near Esperance, this rare verticordia is relatively unknown and in need of further study but can be found near coastal granite outcrops in wet and sandy clay. Growing to 30cm in height, this small shrub boasts flowers of a pale green cream and golden brown between September to December. While not the brightest in colour, they are still visually striking with a long central style that is up to three times the length of the petals.
