About this plant
A medium to large dense shrub from 0.8 to 4m high. It is found widely on the coast of southwest WA on coastal dunes. Great as a screening plant or a wind break, this limestone and drought tolerant shrub flowers yellow pom-poms in Autumn or Spring, after which emerge the characteristic red and black seed pods that give it its name.
