About this plant

First formally described in 1862 from a specimen found on “Middle Mount Barren” and found through the Stirling Range, Cape Arid, and Coolgardie regions this dense spreading shrub is drought and frost tolerant as well as hardy once established. Masses of pink-mauve flowers cover this 1-2m shrub between September and December but can appear as early as July making for a gorgeous addition to a winter garden.
