Found only near the Cooloomia Nature Reserve along the Murchison River this verticordia is classified as Category 3 meaning it is poorly known with a limited endemic range. An ornamental spreading shrub with large heads of bright yellow flowers which responds well to pruning and grows up to 2m in height.
