About this plant

Medium to large shrub which usually grows 2-4m high with large yellow-brown flower spikes reaching 5-10cm during November to January. Found only in scattered populations between Mullewa and Kulja in the Avon Wheatbelt, this Banksia is classified as “Rare” by the WA Government. Prefers well-draining sandy or gravelly soil, though will tolerate clay and lateritic soils. Full sun to part shade.
